For Costco: last resort to spend the night April 2019 when we discovered all local campgrounds where booked. we have a truck camper and parked near a large class C that was parked in Costco parking lot just near the McDonalds. no knocks on the door and easy access to food in the morning. would do it again if in the same situation.

For Costco: I called Costco, they said they had no problem with it, but they were unsure if there was a city ordinance against it. When I got to the parking lot, I also asked the shopping cart collector from Costco if it is okay and he to said he was unsure, but did see other Motorhomes doing it. Only sign posted was a no parking a car for sale. Never once did I see anything stating no over night parking. I did spend the night, with no problems from the city or police (I was NOT ticketed). It was a little loud and lots of homeless around the area. Did notice that the police did patrol the area. Was not a preferred place to stay, but there was a huge sign at Walmart stating no over night parking. All campgrounds were full, so it got the job done and hey, can not beat free!
