For Capilano RV Park: The best and worst feature of Capilano River RV Park is it’s location. It lies beneath the Lions Gate Bridge and is difficult to enter with a large RV due to road construction. However it is walking distance to great shopping at Park Royal and a great walking park, Stanley Park. It is a short distance to the downtown area, but you must cross the very congested Lions Gate. Staff are friendly and facilities clean. The spaces are super tight. Our neighbor’s awning almost touched our slide out. I considered the price high at $85/daily. There is plenty of highway noise at night, sirens from emergency vehicles will wake you up.

For Capilano RV Park: Great location and clean area. Spots are super close to each other but luckily we had no neighbors so it felt more spacious. Showers were free and pool was clean.

For Capilano RV Park: Park us in a GREAT location close to Vancouver and Stanley Park and a nice walking/biking trail along the shore to Ambleside. Grocery stores, liquor etc. in a mall you can easily walk to. This type of access/location is VERY rare near big cities. Loses a star for REALLY tight spaces and poor wifi.

For Capilano RV Park: Glad we called ahead before trying to check in, they have a 2 pet policy and we have three small dogs. They were kind of rude about a policy they don’t even have listed on their website. Happy to go elsewhere.

For Capilano RV Park: The campground is nice a great location however these are the smallest RV spots I have ever seen. Some campers could not fully extend their awnings. I am full time and stay in hundreds of RV parks and this is the worst in over two years. Good Sams gave this park almost a perfect score is the reason for my reservations. Other RV apps and Yelp this park has only one or two stars. The reason for only one star is due to an extremely rude employee at the check-in desk. Within one minute of opening her mouth I regretted my reservations. Not only was she extremely rude and condescending to me but other customers as well. In the ten minutes of check-in she was rude to three other customers. One customer as a simple question and instead of answering she lectured them about they should have read the information given them upon check-in. This employees behavior is well documented by others on Yelp and other RV park review sites. The only reason to stay here is location.

For Capilano RV Park: Wow. cant believe the reviews. All I fouind was Spaces so small that my slide outs were touching the next RV. The Wifi was so bad could never get on. No cable. picnic table under slde outs so no use. Noisy and the front desk help was near useless. Maybe I was at the wrong campground!!

Buffalogr

For Capilano RV Park: This RV park is very clean and well maintained. It's washrooms are also clean and fresh. It's located right beside the Lion's Gate Bridge to Stanley Park and Vancouver--there are pedestrian/bicycle accesses to the bridge from the park. That means the traffic back ups (noise) are just above the tent campers and visible to others. The wifi is excellent and works better than any I've seen in an RV park. Access is OK, except for the 160 degree left turn when approaching from the East/mall.
