For Cabelas: Didn’t stay here. We called and were told that this location no longer allowed overnight stays due to city policy. Unlike other reviewers we weren’t given a hint that we’d be okay to stay anyway, so we didn’t chance it. Perhaps it’s fine to just show up and park anyway, but we were told not to.

For Cabelas: We just stayed overnight while heading home from out west. We did not call ahead. We arrived late and left early. It was very quiet for being so close to the interstate. There were a few other campers there. I would easily return. While this was a great place to stay, it is apparently no longer allowed. An employee pulled up and honked late at night and then early in the morning. They also placed a flyer under our windshield wiper that said that their parking lots are intended for day use only and not overnight, but we did not see it until morning. At the entrance to the parking lot, there was a paper posted that stated that it was a city-wide restriction for overnight parking, but since other reviewers said that management did not mind, we pulled in anyway. Note: This was at the beginning of Sturgis Bike Week. That may have something to do with the more strict enforcement.

For Cabelas: We read that they do not allow overnight parking, but we stayed here March 2021 with no problem. We did not call ahead but got in late & there were 2-3 other rigs already parked there. We pulled in and had no problems. It was right off the interstate and was quick and easy to get to.

For Cabelas: We stayed here 10/6/2020. Called ahead and the person I spoke to said they did not allow overnight parking per the city, however she said no one is going to mess with you during your stay. They had non-potable water and a dump station. $5 fee for dump station or they’ll give you the code with any purchase or if you have their credit card it’s free. We actually dropped our fifth wheel off and drove to Mount Rushmore. Did not have any issues. We have a 44ft fifth wheel and did not have an issue finding a place to park. There were at least ten other RV’s in the parking lot. Great overnight stay.

For Cabelas: Camper parking was almost filled with employee vehicles, spots too narrow to drop our stairs and was such an incline that made using this location impossible. The “trailor parking” was our only option since the outer rim of the main parking lot was full. Normally, we don’t have this problem since we stopped at 3:30pm ... but this place is full and employees park in the rv area. Won’t be back, which is too bad bc we always spend hundreds of $ at Cabela’s.

For Cabelas: Easy access, and plenty of room. There was some highway noise but not bad. This is a great place to overnight.

For Cabelas: 4/22/19 Nice place to overnight. Checked in with Customer Service. We’re told to park in trailer area or along the sides (out of the way of customers. No complaints other than a little road noise, to be expected.
