For Saddle Mountain Recreation Park: Yep, it’s a nice park and has the best pool that I’ve seen at an RV park. WIFI works best, but still slow, at the Kiosk. $85.00/night for a back-in 30 amp site but still less than the neighboring park! Probably a function of being near Carmel, Ca.

For Saddle Mountain Recreation Park: We stayed here early January, 2015. We were going to stay 4 nights originally but ended up staying for 9. The weather was just too nice and Carmel beach was too hard to leave. The park allows dogs but no dog area specifically for them, but you can walk them in park and on trails on a leash. Dogs are welcome in Carmel and the beach is off leash, so that's the place to take your dog. Many restaurants in Carmel with outside seating will let you have your dogs in the outside area. This R V park is small, only 25 sites but is well maintained and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The pool isn't open in the winter months. Great WIFI here! Great mountain views. Cool nights brought heavy dew outside, and condensation inside the RV. Most sites this time year are in the shade as there are lots of trees and natural vegetation. Can't wait to come back next year. Maybe stay a month then. Probably lots of children here in the summer, not sure, but there is a big, clean pool and playground area.

For Saddle Mountain Recreation Park: Secluded and quiet. A small park away from it all. We'll maintained. The camp host is super helpful. Cheapest place to stay near Carmel...only 15 minutes away. Giant pool. The road in is narrow and a bit steep, but manageable. I have a 25' trailer and got in just fine. Really big rigs might want to think twice as the last mile in is a single lane with no turnouts. Oh, did I mention the great view?
