For Butte Meadows Campground: Just spent two nights at Butte Meadows Campground before a trail run that started .5 miles up Humboldt road at rustic Bambi Inn. A great little campground with 12 sites, $12 a night, one well kept pit toilet and two faucets for potable water. Lots of large pine trees, well spaced sites, sound of the creek roaring by was nice (as of June 2019 with all the recent snow and rain). Located just behind a Cal Fire station. No reservations. Mostly tent campers but our 25 foot class C just fit in site #5. Saw one travel trailer about 30 feet, probably as big as anyone would want to pull in here. Good job US Forest Service!
