For North Shore Campground: This is a hard one to call. Let's start with this -- if you come here, it's a good decision. Are there better places at less money, I don't know. It is a very popular campsite for sure. The sites are terraced so we didn't have to level which is always nice.
There is no WiFi here. My Verizon phone had 2 bars and my Sprint Mifi worked adequately particularly if I got it up in the air a bit.
There is no grass in the campgrounds which is just dust, dirt, and gravel. The trees in the site are very pretty. There's a sense of being packed in but I don't think the sites are really all that small at all. I guess it's because you feel a bit like you're parking on a terraced parking lot.
The lake is very pretty and there is a nice swimming area. The "beach" is kind of sandy mud which certainly isn't the resort's fault!
The RV showers are very nice and home-like (assuming, of course, you have a few dozen people taking a shower every morning!) In other words, they're fine and a bit better than average.
