For Marin Park: $98 a night !! Asphalt parking lot in urban area. Very tight - no space between sites, no picnic tables. But level, clean, good hookups. You look at the location on the map, it’s right by the bay, you think elegant, nice to be close to nature - NOT! But satisfactory but very expensive. Location relatively close to SF and nice area but!

For Marin Park: RV-PARK? It’s a Walmart Parking Lot!!! - Its nothing but gravel and black top!!! No trees, no bushes, no grass ... All the sites are narrow and if you have any slide outs you are on top of each other! “My wife said you have more room at a Walmart Parking Lot†.Power went out for most of our last day so we cut our stay short left... The best part of our stay was the STAFF!!! They are very helpful and friendly. Price is way to high for staying at a parking lot ... no ambience whatsoever! There are way too many other places to stay than this place. Move on past this place and keep checking around you’ll come up with a Better Place!!!!

For Marin Park: Stayed here for a few nights in mid September while visiting San Francisco. Staff is super helpful and readily provided info on how to get around without your vehicle into San Francisco. Located off the 101 freeway, the gravel sites were quite level, with plenty of room for our TT with one slide and truck combo of 52'. Reservations are recommended, some sites are shorter, and you get what is available without one. When we were there, they only had one empty after I checked in, which was quickly taken. Hook-ups, cable/water/electric/sewer are at the back of the site. Make sure your hoses/cords can reach that far. 5 foot sewer extensions were available to purchase in the office. The Larkspur foot ferry into the city is only a 10-15 minute walk away. Bus stop also a short walk away. Dog friendly, but does not have an off leash area. From the dog walk area you can look across the bay at San Quentin. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again on our next visit to San Francisco.

For Marin Park: Nice clean site. Level. Major Hwy pretty close, but at night traffic calmed down significantly until 6am, could sleep well enough, RV Park is fantastic located for day trips to San Francisco, ferry terminal in short walk distance (15min), ferry ride approx 25min, bus terminal close too. We stayed 2 nights to discover SF a bit.

For Marin Park: This is an update to my original review. The two stars relate only to their customer service and mail service. I had to leave before my forwarded mail arrived at their office. They knew how important this package was to me and said they would forward it when it finally arrived. I have never received the package. When I called about it they were rude and would never give me a clear answer as to what happened to the package. My advice: DO NOT GET MAIL at this campground. Or just don't stay here at all. I may never see my mail and my guess is that it's still sitting in their office, unless someone decided to keep it for themselves.

For Marin Park: Nothing fancy but decent price and friendly staff. We weren't there much since we were site seeing in San Francisco most of our stay. We stayed 3 nights.
Ten minute walk to Ferry so easy access to the city. However, our favorite trip was driving across the Golden Gate bridge, then through the city, and then to the vistas for pictures at sunset. Great location to see the sites and still not pay extreme SF prices.
Full hoookup, gravel, not much space between, but sufficient. Pool. Laundry. Nice and clean.

For Marin Park: Urban gravel RV "park" - nothing parklike about it, but sufficient. Next to US 101 and exit ramp, so continual loud traffic noise 24X7. No trees, no bushes, no grass - just gravel and asphalt. Urban air pollution. Narrow sites, gravel = not very level. BUT pool is OK, all the requirements are here - power is OK, water OK, dumps are at back of site but OK, room for larger units. Staff are very friendly and nice. Price median for high-demand California location. And location is pretty convenient to San Francisco.
