For Likely Place Golf and Resort: Had mechanical difficulties, tried calling several times and email twice to let them no we would not be able to make it and if they could call us back please. No response either by phone or email.
They certainly could return the call when I booked it. Not pleased, very poor customer service.

For Likely Place Golf and Resort:
Likely Place Golf & RV Resort is in the most unlikely place to find a superior RV resort tucked away in Modoc County in the most northeast part of California. The elevation is about 4,500 feet and there are views of nearby plateaus and mountains. There are several lakes and creeks nearby. The RV park is laid out in a traditional manner, but you don’t feel like you are in a parking lot because there is enough room and green grass between most sites. There are full hook-ups that work perfectly; depending upon your rig you may need an extension sewer line, hose, or electric cable because the post is close to the road. Don’t count on being close enough to the WIFI signal. No cable TV is available. But hey expecting these things is old school because you should be using unlimited data cell service by now, right? The staff is friendly and courteous. The restaurant serves good eats. There are lots of activities available such as bocce ball and kayaking, but the overwhelming feature is the golf course. Because Likely is so rural I expected a pasture like golf course but that is not the case at all. The 18-hole course meanders about the property providing various incredible views. The course is maintained very well with lush fairways, attractive water hazards and fast but fair greens. Some of the holes are narrow for those who slice or hook past the second cut into the brush. Most of the holes are wide enough for everyone, though. If you are a person that combines your RV and golf hobbies you should put Likely Place on your to-do list.

For Likely Place Golf and Resort: Stayed for a night along the road, with a tent -- and we want to go back to stay for a few days. Great sites, lots of activities on site and nearby, really great shower / bath / laundry facility, easy after-hours check-in, nice staff, little cafe on site. No cell phone service but WiFi in some public areas. Nature trail, paddle boats, bicycles, etc. Fun!

For Likely Place Golf and Resort: We wanted to travel through sort of remote area and Allstays (of course) showed two places in Alturas which was about midway between our route Red Bluff to Bend, OR. We like using remoter roads at times, not the obvious routes (say thru Klamath Falls). One Alturas place had only a one star rating. Pass. We called the second place to hear “ having sewer problems, may not be open. Might try Likely, CA.†We called Likely to ask about likelihood of getting a spot for our 27’ trailer and the woman answering was very helpful and gave us confidence.
Our route from Red Bluff was through the Lassen NF and was beautiful, and after Susanville the landscape was pretty barren and not much traffic. We passed through names on the map to find basically only names on the map. Would an RV park in a place called Likely be ok? Not much in Likely either, but driving a few miles to their park-and then arriving gave us smiles. Wow, what a nicely maintained place this is! Very nice people. Most spots have shade trees, golf-course grass, nice tables. If you are anywhere close to here, rest assured this is a good stay.

For Likely Place Golf and Resort: Stayed here October 2017 and really liked it just tried to check in tonight, October 2018 one week earlier. Stopped at office and some older disheveled lady (using the term loosely) said in a really nasty way “we are closed†assuming just the office was closed, she said again in an extremely mean and growling voice “we are closed for the season†- that’s it we won’t go back. They could have at least posted “closed for season†on the sign out at the road it would have saved driving the two miles through the cattle field!

Adventure Seeker
For Likely Place Golf and Resort: A quiet country location just a short distance from any highway noise. At the time we stayed only full service sites numbered from 1 - 10 were open. These are closely spaced and do not have grassy spots. It had been raining quite a bit and the gravel pads were sinking into the mud below. Fortunately it didn't cause problems for departure but it was not possible to level our rig and you need weather proof boots for walking dogs. The WIFI does not work and our cellular service did not reach the park so forget about checking weather forecasts or road conditions.

For Likely Place Golf and Resort: This is a jewel. We would absolutely stay here again. Nice hookups, WiFi good, bathrooms warm and clean, showers clean and nice hot water! We stopped here on our way from Bend to California. Nice views, cattle ranch, golfing done for the season, however we don't golf. The clubhouse looked real nice. Very clean and nice place!!!
