Canuck
For KOA Journey Needles: Wide gravel sites with some foliage between. Sites are a bit short. Nice view of the valley. Facilities are in ok shape, pool is nice but not heated. Note there are only eight 50 amp sites in this campground. Lots of over air TV. WIFI is almost useless - actually frustrating - constantly kicks you out, kicks you out after 2 minutes of inactivity, keeps asking you to put in the password. Good for a couple of nights. Lots to do within an hour of Needles.

For KOA Journey Needles: Considering the heat the KOA is what was expected. We stayed one night as we were passing through. The area is gravel and no real shade except for some bushes to help separate the sites. All gravel and LOTS of cactus on outer perimeters. Not a good place to walk dogs as they picked up some needles in their paws. We did not use the pool but looked nice and clean. The small store provided a few supplies if needed.

For KOA Journey Needles: We stayed here two nights in a tent. Nice level ground with shade in our spot #25. Water and electric and crate was reasonable. Restrooms and showers clean. Store had some supplies. Stayed here in March and it was only half full. Would stay again

Carol
For KOA Journey Needles: Super nice people in the office. Wide, clean and level site. The park is all gravel and dirt with no good place to walk dogs. No shade, but oleanders between sites for some privacy. Good for a stop over on the way through on I-40. We stayed in our 37' motorhome with tow.

For KOA Journey Needles: We camped here in tents. The tent spaces are sand pads at the outer edge of the all gravel campground. The bathrooms & showers were clean. Laundry room & machines were also clean & reasonably priced. Friendly & helpful staff. Would definitely consider a cabin if it had been any hotter. Seems like 74 was the overnight low. No wifi service unless you sat around the main building. You could pay a fee for service at your camp site.

Bruce
For KOA Journey Needles: Nice facilities, camp is all gravel. They use vegetation to give privacy to camp sites. Outer edge of sites get a beautiful view of mountains. We spent one night.
