For Mountain Gate RV Park: Another wonderful stay at Mountain Gate RV. The pool and Spa were so refreshing and everything is clean and well maintained. Even the pet area is thoughtful and perfect. Super nice flat and level pull throughs and really nice staff. Thanks again! You make our travels easy and fun.

For Mountain Gate RV Park: Easy check-in and Bridget in the office was very kind. We stayed in full hookup pull-through concrete pad site #66. Leveling on concrete pads is usually an absolute breeze but this one was tilted to the side. Perhaps they did this to prevent water from pooling? Very bad design. We appreciated the 20/30/50 amp plugs on the electrical post as it allowed us to run 2 A/C units simultaneously in 100+ degree heat. Major plus! There was decent tree shade as well. Free wifi was provided for 2 devices and it was blazing fast at our site. My AT&T phone had 2 bars and my wife's Verizon phone had 3 bars. The 24 cable channels were also wonderful. The park is located close to I-5 but we didn't notice any road noise at night. Laundry is reasonably priced at $1.75 to wash and $1.50 to dry. Dryers are in bad shape and should be replaced. Washers were ok. Clean bathrooms and showers. A small pool is located near the office but we didn't try it. Propane is available near the office.

For Mountain Gate RV Park: After passing by on our way somewhere else for 30+ years, we finally stopped here for the night (after a long rainy haul from Portland OR). It was a wonderful gem: close to the freeway but still fairly quiet, sunny hillside with paved pull-through sites, several well-kept spotless restrooms, leash-free dog area, on-site propane, WIFI, and a great staff (thanks Linda for all your help). We have a small 20’ trailer, but several spaces could accommodate much larger rigs. This will now be our go-to stopover on our way over the Siskiyous and back home.

For Mountain Gate RV Park: One of the nicest RV parks we have stayed in. The trees were a god send on the 100 degree days we were there. Friendly staff. Clean facilities. What more do you want?

For Mountain Gate RV Park: After 10 days on the road and 3 other rv parks, this park was amazing. Only stayed 2 nights but we were sooo pleased with it we will be back. Convenient location just off I5, but highway noise was not bad. Trees for shade, wide spaces with concrete level pads, grassy area for table, paved roadway, so no dust stirred up by others arriving or leaving. Full hook up sites, large, very clean bathrooms and showers. Good size pool, laundry available, convenience store and clubhouse. Lots to see and do in the area, Shasta lake and dam, hikes, bike riding, boating, shopping, etc.
