For Mountain Valley RV Park: Hidden gem at a sailplane airport on the edge of town, with great views and sunsets. Neat, clean, and friendly. Be sure to have breakfast at the airport caf and note all the USAF training plaques (Edwards AFB is nearby). The RV park is owned by the airport and is small but top-notch. Preferred place to stay when in the area.

Stephanie

For Mountain Valley RV Park: Excellent little park. Scenic, away from noise of freeway and town, free air shows, friendly staff, nice campsites. Restrooms are a little dated, but clean.

Patty

For Mountain Valley RV Park: We stayed here for 8 days in a motorhome. Very quiet location but easy access from HWY 58. Offer water and electricity with a dump station on site. Paid $27/nite with discount. Showers are clean. Must see in this area is the Tehachapi Loop (railroad). The Train Depot is also impressive. We will stay here again.

MoHobyDick

For Mountain Valley RV Park: Quiet and safe park with basic amenities; we will stay here again! We stayed here in our 30 ft. Class A gas (1 slideout) with car, and the level, pull-thru sites are easy to get into and roomy for slideouts on both sides. Even for large rigs. Sites are decomposed granite with grass and a picnic table. Mature trees separate each. We came for 1 night but ended up staying for 3 due to high-wind travel advisories from a winter storm (Feb. 2015). Water and electric HUs easy to access. One gray/black dump station, in a wide area near the office. Easy drive from/to S. R. 58 on paved roads. The glider (sailplane) airport owns the RV park, so this location is breezy and can get windy, but the views of the mountains are 360 degrees and beautiful. The staff at both businesses were warm, friendly, and welcoming, especially Bobbi at the RV office. Definitely dog friendly. Our breakfast at Raven's Nest cafe was delicious. We agree with the 2 reviews before ours, and are very glad AllStays Camping app has this location on its map.
