For Ventura Beach RV Resort: Thieves! I checked in here for an extended stay. It cost me $1800 a month for a spot 100 feet from the freeway. Half way through my first month the park flooded and evacuated. I asked the staff the day before if I should be concerned and was told no. The day of the flood they didn't call me for four hours after they were notified of the evacuation. By the time I got there I was in waist high water. I lost over a $1000 worth of gear and $2500 in damage to my coach. I couldn’t risk more damage so I moved moved out and they wouldn't even refund the rent for the last two weeks. Stay away if you're smart.! I’ll be seeing them in court.

For Ventura Beach RV Resort: This was our first stay in our new trailer. We stayed two nights near the end of October on week nights. I’m sure coming here off season helped. We had a pull through spot that was well maintained and level. There were several empty spots around us. Park restrooms, showers, pool and hot tub were clean. Staff were friendly. There was freeway noise but not unbearable. We live near a freeway anyway. 5 minute walk to the beach was nice. Wristbands were a small annoyance but necessary to keep riff raff out. All in all, a great first RV trip!

For Ventura Beach RV Resort: I arrived on the afternoon before the mandatory evacuation. At that time it was just a possible evacuation and they had a packet of information for guests asking them to be ready to leave with one hour notice. Except when I made my reservation from 15 minutes out they didn't mention the flood warning. When I checked in they didn't mention the flood warning. I walked out to my rig and someone handed me the flood warning packet. I said I wanted a refund and they said oh no you just signed agreeing to no refunds. Sure, while you were withholding evacuation information! While failing to give me the info seems to be a series of mistakes from new staff, failing to give the refund (they don't dispute any of these facts) was a choice by management to be of bad character.

For Ventura Beach RV Resort: Very clean and beautiful fun park. Yes the freeway is right there but it did not bother us. The staff is extremely friendly. Riding straight from park onto bike path is a great perk. Be warned however that in Ventura area Bike theft is huge! Make sure you have a heavy duty chain as the thieves carry chain cutters. Also if your bike is stolen you are required to have your Bike serial number in order for them to retrieve Bike. Also the cops will not go into the hobo village to retrieve bikes. Our bikes were stolen as well as our sons Bike trailer and we saw the thieves riding around on them but unable to provide serial number as This isn't required in Colorado.

For Ventura Beach RV Resort: Very clean, pretty park. Be aware it butts right up to highway 101, a 6 lane highway north of Los Angeles at that point. Very difficult to sleep at night, even with earplugs! They are very strict, require everybody to wear wristbands and you may be fined or ejected if you are in your site without one. Visitors have to pay fee for each visitor AND the vehicle!! Too much noise, too many rules.

For Ventura Beach RV Resort: This is a fairly nice park BUT they charge you every time you turn around! $78 per night plus $4 a night for the dog. Friends wanted to visit for an hour...another $15 for two visitors and their car! I would not recommend this park unless money is no object! Also very noisy as it is right next to the very busy 101 Freeway

For Ventura Beach RV Resort: Have to say this park was top notch as far as staff, security, beach location, clean, well maintained. The only trouble is the noise. The 101 a stones throw on one side and the freeway enter and exit on the other. If your a light sleeper like i'am it's not the place for you.
