Outback

For Calico Ghost Town RV Park: Stayed here as overnight stop. Kiosk attendant gave us map with spots that were reserved and said we could park anywhere other than those locations. Sites with connections were very unlevel as mentioned in other their reviews. Most of the sewer connections did not have any covers other than a rock so very little odor control. We picked one site but because it was unlevel and appeared someone had dumped directly on the ground, we moved to another site which was just a challenging to level. Another rig arrived, parked and then move to another site as well for same reason. Bathrooms appeared to be ok but we did not use. This park needs work. Ghost town fun for an hour or so as a break from driving. Will not stay here again.

James B Crandall

For Calico Ghost Town RV Park: San Bernadino campgrounds are suffering from lack of personnel. Entrance kiosk had closed by 3:30 PM. A maintenance worker suggested to just pick a spot and maybe the ranger will come collect in the morning. But he warned that since they do not mark spots reserved anymore that we might get displaced if camping in a reserved spot. Decided not to stay, Campgrounds are pretty rough, rocky and not level.

For Calico Ghost Town RV Park: 1 night stay. Sites A1-20 are dirt. Not gravel, or concrete. Many of the sites (we were in A14) are not even close to level. Had to work to get level. 8-10" difference between front of trailer and rear. Looking around immediate area, others are the same. Looking forward to the ghost town, which fee is included in the RV park price. Would stay again, but will drive around and pick spot and not rely on their assignment.

Majestic Molly

For Calico Ghost Town RV Park: Part of the Calico Ghost Town Park with admission price to the park subtracted from the camping fees. Full hookups available in loops A & B. Sites marked if reserved but check dates on tickets as out of date reserved tickets may not have been removed. Very friendly staff. Lanes General Store in Ghost Town has some camping supplies and is very nice. Calico House Restaurant also in Ghost Town is open from 8AM to 5PM and was a real treat. Ghost Town is a short walk from campground.
