For Golden Eagle Ranch Campground and RV Park: We had reservations but found that our site wouldn't accommodate our RV. I went to the office and the young man asked if I had a site in mind. I didn't have one in particular so when my husband arrived (he was driving separate in our MotorHome) we both looked and he agreed we wouldn't fit and picked out a few sites. The campground was mostly empty. When we went back to ask about changing, he said he didn't have the authority (why did he bother asking me?)and he couldn't help us. There was no one he could call. The sites were dirt only, no gravel, uneven, and the one they had us in had water on one side, elec on the other. He didn't try to help us and didn't care. We left and we went to KOA.

For Golden Eagle Ranch Campground and RV Park: We really enjoyed our stay at Golden Eagle. The owners and office personnel are wonderful! We added a few days to our stay and they were able to accommodate us at check-in. Sites are fairly level, but the only complaint would be that the sewer connection is a little off from the rest of the hookups. But we enjoyed ourselves so much that we are returning in July!

For Golden Eagle Ranch Campground and RV Park: Leaves a lot to be desired. Sites are close, utilities are not placed in convenient locations (probably put in a very long time ago) and there is a lot of rain runoff damage. Campground is not being cared for with RVers in mind. Laundry is okay but not large enough to support the number of sites. There is a nice lake that only requires an extra campground fee. Bluebirds are great. Rabbits galore. Insect museum is nice with a nominal fee. Would probably not return.

For Golden Eagle Ranch Campground and RV Park: This is a hidden treasure and a well kept secret. It's just 10 miles south of Colorado Springs. It feels like true country camping but you're so close to town. There are fabulous mountain hiking trails, fishing and an amazing insect museum on site. Plenty of level and long pull through hook up sites. Our family loves it!
