Pluses: Bathrooms, walking areas, we had a almost perfectly level site.
Neutral: water pressure. VERY high. Be sure the first thing from the tap is your regulator. We blew out a flex adapter before the regulator.
Negatives: trains as previously mentioned. Speed limit is 4.5 mph which you walk faster. Sewage can back up not just from your site, but when other sites drain. Rocks don’t seem to help either. We weren’t around but our neighbor dumped to leave, overflowed up our drain and popped off causing a major sewage leak apparently.

Awesome campground! Plenty of trees for shade. Very clean and staff is really friendly. WIFI available at bath/laundry facilities. Firepit and firewood available at office.
* High water pressure, use pressure regulator *

Excellent campground in a beautiful setting . Could remove just a few trees to make it easier for big rigs to maneuver. Only issue was very limited cell service and wi-fi. Would definitely stay again in our 42 ft motor home. The Air Force Academy is in a gorgeous setting and is so beautifully maintained.jd84h6

I will definitely be back. Loved that my site was surrounded by trees, and had some distance and privacy from my neighbor sites. It was quiet for the most part, except when the train would pass by on the other side of camp. It didn’t bother me, but I imagine it would bother others that are sensitive to noise when they’re sleeping. The laundry room was clean, except for the washing machines that someone used before me that had lots of pet hair. The bathrooms and showers were well kept, but didn’t use showers. The staff was very friendly. Easy getting on/off post. Able to rent a firepit/chimenia, which they felivered to site, and picked up. They also sell firewood and some rv essentials.

Campground natural landscape is nice and must reserve early. I have a big rig which I let the staff know upon reservation. They put me in this awkward spot with no room to maneuver. I had to change my spot. Staff not familiar RV size limitations per site. Laundry rooms are nice and clean. They strictly enforce no washing clothes with pet hair. One person did and they locked the laundry room with my clothes inside. Had to wait 2 hours for supervisor to unlock it. Other than a parking spot with full connections and a nice natural landscape the campground doesn’t offer services that justify their daily rate.

Great campground. Lots of sites. Bathrooms are clean and laundry available. Good amount of spacing in between sites. Lots of trees and shade coverage.
Call ahead of time as they book quick. We were placed on a waitlist and called the day before our arrival which was great!

The rv park is nice & nestled in the pine trees. The spaces are gravel & long. Good space in between. Laundry was good, didn’t utilize the bathrooms. Lots of nice trails to walk dogs. Cell service was ok & our satellite worked on the roof. The exchange & commissary aren’t too far away. Good location to get to things in Colorado Springs. My issues are, there are trains that go by all day & all night. It’s pretty pricey for military RV parks. The most we’ve paid. We would probably stay here again if in the area.

One of the nicest RV parks I have stayed at. Beautiful location in the trees, large sites randomly placed in the trees. Yes you need to pay attention driving in, the trees do not move out of your way. Level sites, well placed utilities. Very high water pressure. Staff very helpful. Lots of walking space but wish there was a dog park where the pups could be off leash for a bit.

Beautiful park in the pines with a gorgeous Air Force Academy and pikes Peak in the foreground. The staff is top-notch and very helpful. Great place for family, everything available in nearby Colorado Springs

The park is great, quiet, lots of trees, etc. but if you need internet, forget it, they are in the flintstone era. It does not exist there.
