For Mueller State Park: We're traveling through Colorado this Spring, and came across Mueller State Park, just outside of Colorado Springs. This park is absolutely fabulous, it is what every RV camping poster should have on it. This park is part of the Colorado State Park system, so you will pay a nightly camping fee, and an entrance fee. We paid $36/night for an electric only site (no full hook-ups available). There is also a $9/day entrance fee (for non-residents, it is a little less for CO residents). That brings it to $45/night. You can buy a 12 month state park pass for $80 that is a bargain if you are going to stay or visit many of their state parks. The park has all paved roads that make navigation easy. Nice wide sites of all types are available. Ours was a pull through site with trees all around us. The trees are well taken care of and did not encroach upon the site at all. There are bathroom facilities, but we did not use these. We were there in late April, and it snowed on two of our days. The snow made it into a Winter Wonderland. On the drive to Mueller State Park, we were at zero bars of service on our AT&T cell phones. I needed connectivity and I was worried that previous reviews that had indicated there was service were in error. They were not. By the time we got into the camping area, I had 3-4 bars of 4G AT&T service. There are numerous trails all around the park, no matter what your ability. We could've stayed here two weeks instead of just four days. Even when it was windy, the numerous trees made it seem less windy. The elevation here is near 10,000' so be prepared to be out of breath often. The town of Divide is only a few minutes away (McGinty's restaurant has some great food!). Woodland Park is only 15 minutes away and there is a Tractor Supply, Walmart, and much more. Lots of activities to do and see from this camp ground, or just enjoy the beauty of Mueller State Park right from your campsite.

For Mueller State Park: Beautiful, well maintained and lots or gorgeous hikes. Spots are well saved out. Lots of water stations to fill before you park. Dump is free.

For Mueller State Park: Great place! Can't wait to come back. Stunning views everywhere. Clean well kept facilities. Helpful staff. Only negative was dogs not allowed on trails. Still plenty of forest service trails around that allow dogs.

For Mueller State Park: The whole park was renovated in 2014 - new roads, facilities and all. My wife agreed that this would be ideal for families with small children - an abundance of trails with gentle grades, activities, the playground. The campground offers some spectacular views of the Pikes peak. Overdeveloped to feel wild.
