For United Campground of Durango: Really nice park. Gravel sites with some sloping toward the river. Sites share utilities so your neighbor can be very close. Lovely views of valley, river, mountains and the train goes right through the park. Grounds are nicely kept. Did not use restrooms or laundry. We would definitely stay here again.

Dan

For United Campground of Durango: This park is located in a picturesque area 4 miles from Durango. The staff were very helpful, full hookups, gravel campsites and all the amenities were very clean and well kept. In addition to showers, laundry, swimming pool and small store the Durango Silverton Narrow Gage RR goes through the park. It was wonderful experiencing the steam locomotives passing by. Currently there are only three trains scheduled each day. The campground is very quite and peaceful. We definitely plan on returning to this campground.

For United Campground of Durango: Ok park but they pack you in fairly tight. If you can get a site on the right side as you look down on park. Gravel sites. Sites share hook up location. Durango Trolley come right by park every 20 minutes (get app Durango transit) $1 or 50 cents if over 60. Gets you into old Durango area in 10-15 minutes. Friendly staff. Showers, bathrooms, laundry, small store. Nice views from park. Durango Steam train runs right thru park. Would stay again.

Foster

For United Campground of Durango: Great location north of town with a trolley stop to town running every 20 minutes. Owners were great, bathrooms & showers clean. As advertised the Durango Silverton train runs right through the camp ground. Area is very pretty with the Animas River a stones throw away and a pasture with mountains in the background. I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

For United Campground of Durango: Very nice park in a good location. Laundry room was nice. Didn't use the bathrooms. Sites are gravel. We stayed two nights in late April and it wasn't very crowded. Park is well maintained & managed. Would definitely stay again.

For United Campground of Durango: Nice helpful staff. They answered all our questions about the area. The facility was in a beautiful area. Level sites and clean bathrooms and showers. Next to the river and the Silverton /Durango railway.
