For Dakota Ridge RV Park: This place required the FULL price for 1 night as a non refundable deposit. We travel a lot and have NEVER had to do that. Another person could not get a refund even though his reason for canceling was because his wife had just passed away! We do NOT recommend this place!

For Dakota Ridge RV Park: Watch out for 50% no refundable deposit. They have no compassion for travelers with issues!

Motorhome traveler

For Dakota Ridge RV Park: The owner here is a thief. We arrived 15 early, and in spite of it taking 10 minutes to check in, we were charged 25.00 for early arrival! REALLY FOR 15 MINUTES????? Traveling sometimes is not an exact science and they had absolutely no consideration for that, nor any idea of what customer service is. The lots were very cramped, could barely get our car in with the motorhome, and had to ask a neighbor to move his truck in order for us to get out (and he was completely in his lot). The one side of the lot that you have has two picnic tables because you share the one side. Very cramped. WiFi stinks. We will NEVER stay here again!

For Dakota Ridge RV Park: I thought this place was just fine for us. we stayed five nights. Conveniently located to Denver and all the activities. Friendly staff. Clean. Nice pool. But not much else for the kids to do. I did not feel the spaces were too close compared to other campgrounds. The newer part of the campground has more level spots than the older part, but we just dealt with it. Small dog park but doable. I really enjoyed the music at the biker bar across the street. What a great little place for concerts and fast food.

RVwannabe1

For Dakota Ridge RV Park: This is my first review, unfortunately they have forced my hand to read this. We have stayed at Dakota Ridge in Golden Colorado several times because her daughter lives in the Denver area. We cross the United States to get there. The sites are too expensive, supertight, packing the men with facing doors sharing the same space. I’m one trip I have to cancel, with several months before our arrival, no problem I thought. They did not give me my money back but I said I would get a credit that is to be used before August. I’m OK with that guideline. Now I just called to try to book a reservation several months out and use my one night credit. They do have an opening on the night I wanted which was Tuesday, July 2. That is the time we are passing through. I said I would like to use my credit please, Daniel said no you need to pay a three night minimum because of the first week of July. When I had originally booked my reservation they did not say anything about holiday weeks and not getting any refund. So please take the highroad Dakota Ridge Campground and refund my money if you cannot give me a one night stay. $74 does not grow on trees, we work hard for our money. Where I feel you are just robbing us. The part that really hurts, is that Danielle could’ve cared less. That’s our policy no Grace and no concessions. I could not possibly imagine planning another trip so that I come back before August when I’m going to be there in July. Unbelievable do not go there. Why not drive shortly down the street to Indian Paintbrush Campground at Bear Creek Regional Park. It is a reasonable nightly fee, very spacious campsites, beautiful views and a lake. Not to forget the wonderful extensive walking trails.

For Dakota Ridge RV Park: We did an over nighter here in a 35' fifth wheel. Older park but was fairly clean. Sites not level , some horrible , and very narrow. Our slide extended over the seat of neighbors picnic table. Lastly , we reserved and paid for a pull thru spot. We were assigned to a back in. No big deal. Lady checking us in said they would refund the difference to our credit card. After a month we called to check on it and we're told , No. Our policy is to not give refunds..it's only about $12 so no big deal either. I guess they figure they'll never see us again so no problem. And they're right.

Robertson

For Dakota Ridge RV Park: This place is awful!! When I called I told them we have a 44' class A motorhome with a tow, they put us in this short spot, our tow would not even fit in the space with our RV and it's a Jeep!! And the spaces are so tight, we walk out our door and right into our neighbors front door! The only reason they can charge this high price is because RESORT is in their name!!! Never again! Pass this one on by!! Definitely not worth it!!!
