For Arapho Bay Roaring Fork Campground: Have mixed feeling about this campground. The crowd was almost exclusively from Colorado, that we took for a good sign. The bay has still water for inflatables and paddle boards. The campground (roaring fork) was completely barren - the mountain pine beetle devastated the area, the surrounding Forrest is over 50% dead. Some trails are impassable and will not be cleared until the dead trees have fallen - too dangerous even for the forrest service to maintain. Too many dogs were completely unchecked. The host showed up only once, leaving drunken parties go on well into the night.
