For Lamar Sportsmans RV Park and Horse Motel: This campground was definitely below the standard 4 star rating. It was very nearly a bare lot. The women's bathroom was closed. The sights were very close together. It had a rundown feel to it.

1. Easy off/Easy on
2. Level sites.
3. Decent Utility hookups.
4. $28.00 for full hookup.
5. Nice hot water in ladies shower.
6. Heat in the ladies room on a cold night
Negative:
1. Old unkempt property.
2. Men's room showers need work. Only one working shower.
Don't expect much but a good overnight stay.

For Lamar Sportsmans RV Park and Horse Motel: Arrived on the last Thursday of April at about 2:30 pm. The office was closed. Stayed for till Saturday at noon and only saw someone in the office for about 2 hours on Friday afternoon.
The sites are first come first serve even though they told me I had a reservation prior to arrival.
We have a 39' fifth wheel and it took a bit of looking to find a site long enough for it. Drainage is poor and several puddles. No dog park/run and lots of dog and horse dropping around the park. We wont return.

Gramps camps
For Lamar Sportsmans RV Park and Horse Motel: Brand new owners. Very friendly. She told me about all of the plans they have for the park.
We stayed overnight in our fifth wheel. The bathrooms were very clean.
We look forward to staying again to see the changes they have made.
