For Alta Lakes Campground: Note:There’s no longer any dispersed camping around the ghost town of Alta.And just to reinforce the restrictions on trailers over 20 feet.Definitely not a road for longer trailers. Lots of narrow curvy rocky road.

For Alta Lakes Campground: Beautiful area for tent camping, albeit rather crowded during summer peak. Vehicle limit is posted at 20 ft in length due to road being very bumpy, steep and narrow at some points. Cool ghost town on way to Alta Lake area. Not suitable for RVs.
