For Haggards RV Campground: Incredibly well maintained park! It shows that the owners care!
Cute little store with local items! The sites are huge AND they have you park your car in the next RV spot so you have so much room! Brand
new hookups at each site. I grew up in Pueblo just a bit away so can’t miss going to Do Drop Inn pizza! We just stayed for one nite but would definitely return!

For Haggards RV Campground: Very well maintained CG. No shade, but it is the "high plains/desert". Wide lots. Beautiful views of the mountains and for us, moonsets over the mountains just around dawn. Very large dog area for running. Very friendly and helpful management. Didn't use the facilities. Pueblo West was just a few minutes down the road with at least one good brewery. We traveled to Cripple Creek, Bishops Castle and Lake Pueblo State Park for hiking. If back in the area, we would stay again.

Mroc
For Haggards RV Campground: Wide open prairie. Very large spots, not crowded at all, very nice staff, and although the prairie doesn't offer much greenery the property is well cared for. Its a perfect place to stay for a day or two. The only negatives are that it can be very windy, there's not much cover, and the well water is very hard. But well worth the stop, plus they have a pool and showers.

Jim
For Haggards RV Campground: Very pleasant place on the prarie, The owners take a great deal of pride in their property and it shows. They are super helpful with sights to see (and what to skip). Be sure and stop and say hello to Misty - one of horses in a corral alongside the campground.
There is a great area for walking pets, and a walking path that circles the campground. Along the way, you will find little touches that the owners have placed (flowers, attractive pots, little garden areas, etc) to make it feel inviting. The mountains on the horizon are amazing to see throughout the day as the light changes.
This campground is a distance from town, but not enough to be burdensome. Walmart is probably 10 miles away or so (toward Pueblo West).
We would stay here again.

For Haggards RV Campground: We loved it here!.. I know its a little old looking, but very clean! The pool was sparkling clear, the showers and bathrooms immaculate! the owners were very nice and informative. Didn’t seem to have any permanent residents. Was only going to stay 1 night but then decided on three.

Jerry and Stacie
For Haggards RV Campground: We stayed here one night, and absolutely loved it. It's the only private site on 50 that we found that was clean and very well maintained. Not only this, but the views at this campground were great. Other places locally looked kinda junked up.
This place had a well maintained playground that my daughter loved as well a few snacks inside for purchase. We did bring our own water as we were cautioned to do. The host Nancy went out of her way to be accommodating, she really made it nice. Great spot to set up at to see the Royal Gorge and southern sights. Very safe and we felt comfortable leaving our RV here unattended. We loved this place and would definitely recommend it.
