For Buffalo Hills RV Park: UGH! Overpriced! No WiFi/cable, disgusting men’s bathroom, spaces very small, junky looking. Owner obviously does not feel he needs to invest anything into caring for this property. Would not recommend and certainly will avoid this place in the future.

For Buffalo Hills RV Park: Terrible campground/rv park. Roads were terrible, many puncture vines and goat heads all over sites. We were unable to stay because we felt unsafe it’s the permanent residents. Would not recommended this campground at all.

For Buffalo Hills RV Park: This was a somewhat runned down campground which was pretty much dirt everywhere with a few trees. This was the only option for us as we were trying to time our lengths of stay in any state (A covid thing 😷) The manager was a good guy but after arrival said we had to register online. We felt a little uneasy at the site as we were on the other side of the freeway away from everything and close to the state penitentiary. Probably wouldnt stay here again and definitely for no more than an overnite stop.

For Buffalo Hills RV Park: Stayed here out of necessity along my travel route. Sites are gravel, as are the roads. It's pretty easy to get in and out of. 30 amp service only, but it and the water were fine. My site was not flat. What frightened me the most were the goat heads. Took 57 of them out of my shoes just setting up. I'd be terrified to walk a dog. Guy in the office was nice. Besides all that, if you don't have dogs, have a contained unit, and just need an overnight to rest, it's passable.

For Buffalo Hills RV Park: Last minute stop. Lot of full timers with junk around sites. Bathrooms fair. Dirt lots, owner nice enough but would only stay as last resort

For Buffalo Hills RV Park: Park is still in need of improvements. You can see that updates are happening to the electricity to the sites. New cables are being pulled to the sites. Our site was level. The site next to us wasn’t functional. The site next to it had what appeared to be a full timer, some trash around that space as well as an old mattress leaning against the trailer. Our view was of a large pile of tree cuttings and debris from trees that were removed. Restrooms were tired but clean. It looks like they are trying but have a way to go yet.

For Buffalo Hills RV Park: $33 for full hook up. Not recommended. We did sleep well but that was about it. Manager (female) pleasant. Gentleman who answered the phone about a problem not pleasant or helpful.

Info indicates 50 amp service. Good luck finding a post with a connection that actually provides that. We were told to drive in and pick out a site. The first one we pulled into in an area indicated it had full hook ups, had sewage spilled on the ground. My husband moved us to the site next to it. The second site we moved into did not have a 50 amp connection. After moving a second time, we discovered that the water did not work. That is when my husband called and spoke to a gentleman in the office. He was argumentative about the first two sites we had moved into and then said there was no way to turn the water on. My husband had to run a hose to a different site to get us water.

After being told there were laundry facilities on site, I was pleased and walk to check out the laundry room. The room is old and in need of repair, but be on that the machines were filthy. I did not use them.

The ladies room looks passable and my husband said the men's room was the same. Both, like the campground in general, could stand cleaning and updating.

This appears to be a place where people stay long term while working on construction projects, etc. It is not well cared for in any regard. There is no store.

And yes, there is a state penitentiary on the hill behind the campground. We slept well, but will not stay at this locale again and would never recommend it.
