Winter Quarters Manatee RV

Here for work but let’s just say if I ever had to come back to this area I wouldn’t stay here again. First the amenities aren’t realistic. No WIFI at all, no hot water in the front shower house. The laundry room is ok but don’t expect to wash with warm water or hot for that matter. Trash compactor works at times and when it doesn’t there is a huge amount of trash piled up for days. Now recently the amenities that are available are now being closed early on the weekends. The price should reflect what’s actually being offered. Asked about my mail one day over the phone and the response was very unprofessional. Never again!!

We have stayed at a lot of Encore resorts. This one is very typical.... not bad. Resort was clean and well taken care of. A lot of full timers but they were in good shape. It is noisy being next to highway, but it was also easy to get to a lot of attractions and the beach. Some sites are small, others are large. I would stay here again. As for the staff... pleasant enough.

Completely rude staff. Called my husband ignorant as he tried to explain that we needed a different site because the 35’ site they put us in didn’t fit our 43’ RV. We moved sites and they threatened to evict us and call the police on us for trespassing in a site down from the one assigned that actually fit our rig. This is just the tip of the iceberg (see yelp review for more details) HORRIBLE!!
