Nice, clean, small campground. Good hiking, scenery, fishing, kayaking. $25/night electric and water. Boat launch a bit noisy at times with air boats, etc.

Sweet little campground on the water. We paid 20$ for electric only site. Fun to watch airboats launch, explore the peninsula for a sunset. Only left due to a propane leak, will be back!

We weren't sure we would get a spot on a Saturday but as it turned out there were several. Our rig is 38 ft. and we had no trouble backing in with our tow dolly. The price for water/electric was $25 for a night. Steve in the office was friendly and helpful. We drove into Cedar Key to see the sights, learn a little and enjoy some seafood on the water.

Great spot prices are still the same $5 tent only sites $10 for electric and 15 for water and electric they do add 9% tax on top. Like the other reviews the showers are still old but clean very nice park. Thom and Amy would stay here again

I arrived on a cool rainy day and thought I had landed in paradise. I was in Site 10, a water and electric site right on the water. Water and electric is about $15, electric only $10 and dry camping $5 (there's tax that boosts all of those an odd dollars and cents).

The next day it warmed up and the noseeums were like nothing I've ever experienced in my life. I opened my door for a minute and had 100s inside. Also the 30 amp at my site was reverse wired. There was a 20 amp plug too so I used that. I told the office about the wiring problem.

The adorable town of Cedar Key is only 15 minutes away. A mile away is a 1000s of years old kitchen midden mound. At the site is a boat launch where air boats launch. As others have noted, the noise is only for a minute and then they're away.

While there I had one Verizon 3G device and one Verizon 4G device. I had excellent service on the 4G and intermittent weak service on the 3G.

Newly paved road back to county campground. It's $16.50 a day, 50% off for Veterans. Electric and water with a pump out station. You are right on the water. Good fishing, bird watching, and star gazing! Bring your kayak and get some trout, redfish....

It is almost never filled, no reservations either. About 25 campsites. Managers are great guys, very friendly. Restrooms are old but CLEAN! Very quiet, secluded. Shell Mound is nearby. There are also trails along the waters edge.

Dogs welcome....

Very nice campground with water and electric hook up with a dump station available we arrive Thursday afternoon and was able to get it waterfront view. Airboats come in and out in the early mornings and may interrupt those who like to sleep in late. It is in close proximity to Cedar Key Florida. Evening breeze has kept the Noseeum's to a minimum. Shaded sites and Full sun sites. For $15 it's a good bargain. Will be staying here again in the future.
