Absolutely one of our favorite places to stay. It is definitely a fishing port. 100%. I believe we were the only nofisherman within the town. Everyone there were more then friendly and welcoming. Although the bath and toilet facilities are a bit primitive they were very clean and comfortable. The host was great. Thank you. We will be back.

How many times can you be right on the water - less than 10 feet while camping?! This is one of those places. It is rarely full, and you get a little pavilion to share with another camper (if there is another camper). They have a boat launch, dock, or most of us just put our kayaks or SUP Board right in at our campsite. Has water (good) and electric. Easy sewer dump area too. One of my favorite campgrounds! Hard to find! The sign is down but you have to turn right on 8th Street to find it (sign for the campground is laying on the ground at intersection). Fishing is great! Guys we're catching redfish, flounder, etc. All I got was sting rays!

Downside is there really is nothing much here! One Restaurant on weekends at The Marina. Supposedly another is opening soon. But if you want to be on the water, and just relax in a peaceful setting, this is the place!

This "park" had a stupendous feature, proximity to the bay. Fisher-people park their trailers all over, so beware of being parked in. Payment for the site relies on connecting with the collector, a hit or miss proposition. The town has few resources, so come stocked. First-come basis, so be prepared to lurk on weekends or other busy times.
