Workingdog
For Kings Campground: This is an older park with many/most being homesteaders. The park is clean and well kept to include most of the permanent residents. The park is tight for a big rig to get into/out of your assigned site. Where short stay sites where I did not notice any concrete pads. The service pedestal power was good as was the rest of the hook ups. Signage at the park is small and easy to miss, if you do, turning around at 40' with a dingy is almost impossible.
If your interested, there is a brand new RV Resort just North of this park which did not come up on any of the three apps. I use to search for stops. You will have to goggle Keys Palms Luxury RV Resort.

Proflong
For Kings Campground: Good value, pleasant atmosphere, friendly folks, and direct access to the water. This is Key Largo; basically the "big city" of the Keys. It is difficult to get very far away from the main road anywhere in the Keys and this campground is no exception. Easy to find but expect some road noise and the occasional siren. The facility is well maintained. There is a boat dock and a small (small) private beach. More people use the dock than the beach. Very close to restaurants and stores. Water sport rentals are nearby as is a state park. The state park has a larger beach, kayaking, snorkeling, and reef tours (for a price of course).
Full hook-ups and you are required to use your own bathroom shower etc. The onsite facilities are for tent campers only.
Each site has a level parking spot and a concrete slab with a picnic table.
No ground fires are permitted but you can bring your own elevated fire pit (fire bowl).
Make a reservation early.
Lots of repeat visitors so that speaks to the positive experience.
This is my third year and I expect to return.
Again, this is Key Largo. If you are unfamiliar with the Florida Keys it is different from the mainland.
Get to know it, see if you like it, Kings Kamp and Captain Jax (next door - same owners) is a good place to start.

Homeless Fox
For Kings Campground: nice manager. sites are very close together and kind of trashy in appearnce. Still was okay stay with nice people. Would be great if cleaned up more.
