For Ragans Family Campground: It is definitely a family destination park with a pool, waterslide and plenty of activities thus lots of kiddos. There appears to be an ATV park connected to it that people drive through. I was lucky to get one spot on Labor Day weekend kind of wedged in between two other sites with my 21 foot van. Saturday night they had a really nice 30 minute fireworks show over the adjacent lake. Bathroom floors were muddy which was not a shock considering how crowded the park was. There is another RV park close by that was much more empty that I might try next time.

For Ragans Family Campground: We’ve stayed here several times and probably won’t be back. It’s still convenient and easy parking but the price has zoomed up. It’s a little better than the neighboring park but not at double the price.

For Ragans Family Campground: As other reviewers have pointed out, this is no longer affiliated with Jellystone Parks. Ragan’s staff told us they had posted pictures of pig wrestling and a subsequent pig roast, arousing the ire of animal rights groups, which caused Jellystone to sever ties. We stayed here 2 nights in January, travelling through on I-10. Very convenient to the interstate, but it appears the main reason to stay here is for ATV use of extensive trails and lots of mud; secondary appeal is a somewhat aging water park for kids. Our site was level, with picnic table and fire ring (which we subsequently loaned to a neighbor, whose site had none); our site was also complete with a full array of cigarette butts and soda can pop tops from previous guests. Our power socket was upside down, making it difficult to use a surge protector - we initially plugged in at a neighboring empty site, but camp staff then came and rewired/corrected the outlet. For some reason, while most sites had dump/power/water all together, our water was at the far end of our site, making the use of full hookups challenging. This park looks like it is aging rapidly. Probably ok if you pay $20-$30 a night, but we paid $50 and that was way too much.

For Ragans Family Campground: I’ll start by saying this is not a Jellystone. Jellystone severed ties with this campground. We loved our site, the big missy trees. We were away from all the kid stuff so it was relatively quiet.
The woman who checked us in was very rude and unfriendly. We needed to do laundry and only one out of the three washers was working. There’s a large sign outside the bathrooms telling the guests to rinse off mud before going into the bathroom. They don’t so the bathrooms were extremely muddy.
There’s a lot for kids to do here (which is an additional charge) so I can see why families like it here. Parents need to teach there children some manners though. Many of the kids here are very disrespectful.
Overall I think this is a three star. It’s a little rundown.

For Ragans Family Campground: We were just passing through and spent one night. We were given a sloped site at first and had to ask for another as we couldn’t level the Rv and reach the water and electricity. We were moved to another site and it had very low water pressure. I think this place is overpriced and underwhelming.

For Ragans Family Campground: $30 PA price. Great for 1 night passing through in February. Good WiFi at site. Picnic table and grill. No cable.

Jeri
For Ragans Family Campground: Not a bad park, lots to do for kids; however advertising PA and not accepting it in the summer should be stated in adds. And $55 for one night in basically a parking lot, right on I-10, no picnic table or fire ring which all other sites seemed to have was way way too much. This is the most we have ever paid and for much less. Won't come again, there are much nicer parks for less money.
