For Crystal Lake RV Resort: RULES! RULES! RULES! If you are thinking of staying here think twice! That said its a nice, gated SENIOR LIVING Mostly part-time upscale trailer park. They have 2 nice clean pools etc. BUT you can’t DRINK, SMOKE or entertain AT ALL in, on or around the common areas! (this includes pools, club houses, tennis courts etc.) You must have a reservation to use the clubhouse or courts. You may swim at your leisure but they (the locals and staff) want you out of all common areas at sunset!?! If you arrive past 7pm on your check in day you will NOT be allowed in the park and you CAN’T stay anywhere else within 50 miles overnight with an RV as Collier County doesn’t allow any overnight parking at Walmart, Bass pro or ANY parking lot, Neither does LEE County. You will be greeted with about a 10 page leaflet of rules and what’s expected of you while your staying here. The locals that live in the park full time will be sure to let you know about ALL the RULES on a constant basis. Some will actually come on to your site and let you know even when you’re doing nothing wrong or against the rules. Kids are really not to welcome here in my opinion as most of the seniors seem to not like them being on the property. Great internet for $150 cash or check deposit for a modem. Most of what I said here should be in the RESERVATION page of the website NOT how nice it is and how high there rating is. The rating is very bias from the locals and frequent stayers. This all said we had no problems here, didn’t break the rules nor do we party or drink BUT this should be told/advertised up front to travelers before or during the reservation process NOT after. Most of the folks are very nice and kind but a few are over the top extreme and will be in your business to remind you of what they expect here at Crystal Lake RV Resort. If you want extreme quiet, lifelessness and being watched at all times from people driving by being nosey or peeking out windows all the time than this is the place for you. If you came to have fun and want a beer at the pool or want guests over past 8pm and have kids that like to play and have fun than this place is NOT for you. I felt like we walked on egg shells the whole time as to not upset or irritate the senior crowd here. I have too much respect for my elders to stay in their neighborhood and not abide by what they want. (I’m 51, wife 53). Once again BEAUTIFUL place and lots of amenities but felt uncomfortable to use them as they just don’t seem to want outsiders here. Had no problems other than nosey busy bodies and be constantly watched and told how to live in this park. I would not stay here again unless it was the only place to stay in Naples as it was this time. Lesson learned. BTW this is only an FYI review more than anything. Also NO after hours phone numbers at all to contact anyone and once the gate keeper leaves your on your own. Loose your window sticker that activates the gate.... You’re not getting back in with a vehicle until they open in the morning. In the off season the office staff leave at 3pm for the RV part of the park and 4pm for sales. The staff are very nice but can’t help you much with anything other than what they have authority for that the board of directors have given them. Break any of the rules at all and they will ask you to leave promptly. I wish I could upload the 10 page leaflet for all to read ahead of time but no way here to do so.

The Lights are Off
For Crystal Lake RV Resort: This is a great RV park. Nice concrete or paver stone pads, full hookups including cable and internet, and many with storage sheds and either on the water or off the water. The resort has two pools, tennis and pickle ball courts, and a very active community events (in season).
It is fairly conveniently located a few miles off of I-75 but is in a gated community with ample shopping nearby.
The thing to know about Crystal Lake is that it is primarily a residential community majority of folks being permanent residents who either spend the winters here or are full time residents. Many of the sites are privately owned and are rented through the office or by individual owners, The park is made up of about 50% RV sites and 50% small modular homes (park models).
The residents are all very friendly and it is a very senior oriented community. There are the occasional grand children around, but it is not so much of a family oriented park like KOA or similar is.
