Ben

For Pioneer Village RV Resort: Stayed through Thousand Trails membership, otherwise would bypass. Most sites full timers. Most sites very small, can be very difficult to back longer trailers/5-wheel/RVs into, as frontal area for swinging front end very restricted. Width of narrow road can be problem as people park right on edge; not careless, just no room. Distance to most other campers just a few feet more than width of awning. Train tracks on East side of campground, horn blares for crossings all hours, loud enough to wake up in early hours. Can hear heavy road traffic all sites (interstate and blvd), which on Friday and Saturday nights can be fairly loud with cars thinking its a drag-strip. We've stayed twice, first site we didn't have enough room to back in (very experienced) on our 38' Travel Trailer. Office sent someone that "would show us how to back it", so following his directions, he gave up and required new site. New site had low, massive limbs that a lot of people have backed into tearing up roof, per damage to tree, so they aren't interested in helping protect your investment. Pool very small for number of campers. We stay only because it's paid under TT membership. We use Verizon Wireless for hot spot, which has good signal. Convenient to I-75 and Love's station.

Peter K

For Pioneer Village RV Resort: Stayed here Feb 22 to Mar 9 in a 27' TT on site SH34. First and last time coming to this park - would give this negative stars if at all possible. Exceptionally overpriced. Narrow, crowded sites - packed together like sardines. No cable or wifi at sites (even the worst KOA includes these). Our site was loaded with sand burrs which was a pain constantly pulling them off our dog. Avoid this park unless you speak French - about 2/3 of the campers are from Quebec (four hours of French karaoke at 100 decibels is delightful). Majority of social events (shuffleboard, bocce, etc) are in French. Some of the permanent models are VERY old and covered in mould. Nearby trains woke us up at all hours.

M Day

For Pioneer Village RV Resort: Friendly staff, hard working maintenance/cleaning staff! Spaces are tight but doable for getting in and out. Very close to your neighbors, we had no problems but some people just let their dogs poop in their neighbor’s space. The smoke from nearby burning really ruined our entire stay! Needs updating of pool area, bathrooms, and roadways. Doesn’t seem that Encore re-invests in their properties.

Baroness Fisherman

For Pioneer Village RV Resort: Some of the spots are tight to get into but it worked. It was not full on our visit so that helped. I imagine if full, it would seem much more tight and troublesome. Friendly staff.
