For Upriver RV Resort: Nothing but good things to say about our stay here, the people were friendly and the Super site is worth it, Although I can back up anything with wheels on it, the drive through concrete pads are so convenient and is inevitably saving my tires on the trailer, lots of long term ( 6 months + ) people, a small community I could call home in the future

For Upriver RV Resort: Me and my wife stayed here in October with our 44 foot motor coach. Nothing but good news. East to get to from Interstate. Entrance recently paved. Office folks are friendly. We stayed a premium sites which are all paved. Very level. Nice cement patio area. Spacing between sites are good. They pick up garbage every morning. Nice pool area. Nice laundry. They have recycle bins. Lots of games like tennis and horse shoes. Short walk to river and boat ramp. No road noise. Overall we will come back to this campground. Dream Big, Travel Far, Live Well...

For Upriver RV Resort: Lovely RV Park with water access and spacious sites. Permanent sites occupied by cottage style units and large RVs were scattered through out. Place is in the midst of adding a large number of very long pull through sites in an area that was a small golf course between Upriver and the road.

For Upriver RV Resort: We spent 12 nights with W/S/E-50 Amp in a 38 Ft. Class A Motorhome. Entrance to the resort is convenient just 1 ½ miles off of I-75 east along State Route 78. There is ample space near the office to conveniently unhook the tow vehicle while checking-in. The staff was friendly and courteous. We were located in a spacious supersite with a concrete pad and patio with a small wooden/composite picnic table. The Wi-Fi and cell phone reception was very good. We had no problem using our Dish Tailgater for TV programs and cable is provided.
There are 3 buildings with both laundry and restrooms. The laundry rooms were clean but had no air conditioning or fans. The washer and dryers each charged $1.75 per use. They don’t use quarters, rather you charge a prepaid card to pay the machines. The down-side to this method is you may have an unused balance on the card when leaving; the up-side is that you don’t need to find quarters to do laundry.
Downtown Ft. Myers and the Edison & Ford Winter Estates are 12 miles or 20 minutes away. Some of the other places/attractions in the area worth exploring are Ft. Myers Beach, Lovers Key, Sanibel Island, Captiva, Pine Island, Cape Coral, Punta Gorda and a Caloosahatchee River Manatee & Eco River Tour. This campground is large and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again.
