For Alexander Springs NF Campground: Emphasis is on day use of spring swimming area.Campground appears to be a secondary concern.Locals are of the WHISKEY TANGO variety.Campground security is non existent and noise rules not enforced . campSite was dirty with a liquid spill of an unknown nature where the door of the camper sat. Swimming area is Ok but crowded-they continue to allow entry long after the available parking is filled which results in overflow parking in the campground. This is really a sad end to what was one a beautiful campground.NPS needs to take a hard look at the managment company running the place I won,t camp there again.

For Alexander Springs NF Campground: Great site with picnic benches, fire pits and very clean toilet blocks. Hardly anyone there end of October. The beach are does not seem like much for swimming BUT swim out to the right and you will find the underground large cavern where the water bubbles up. Fantastic snorkelling there and also opposite the beach around the water lilies with lots of fish swimming around you like an aquarium. Amazing clarity of the water and varied types of fish. There is also a good board walk there. No Forest Entrance fees charged when camping.

For Alexander Springs NF Campground: I liked the boardwalk trail. Place was so so otherwise. Weekends are too busy with locals. Lots of potholes from all the traffic.
