For Silver Springs State Park: Sites were very large and lots of room between sites. The site was level and campground very clean and well maintained. There were a few sites in both loops that had full hook ups but we choose the water / electric only. We will stay there again for sure.

For Silver Springs State Park: Huge level semi-isolated sites. Great deal for the price.

For Silver Springs State Park: We loved this campground, level gravel lots, very clean nice restrooms and showers. Convenient easy access dump station. Lots of nice walking and bike trails. Definitely swill stay here again.

For Silver Springs State Park: It’s nice to have a gravel site instead of sand. Very nice sites. Use SR 35 to get to the campground. Verizon 2-3 LTE. Nice shower house. There are several full hookup sites.

Wandering Sandals

For Silver Springs State Park: Little known state park if you try using GPS or Google Map to find it. The park is still growing, thus access to river and camping is strange; launching canoe/kayak is on SR40 entrance, camping is on SR35 entrance. Campsites are generously far enough apart due to kidney bean designed. All sites are graveled, clean and leveled. L-shaped camp site made for spacious and enjoyable stay. Whether back-in or pull-thru sites, all have good shade with wooden picnic table, fire ring and BBQ stand. Clean centralized bathroom with coin-op washer/dryer in covered patio. The nice camp hosts kept themselves busy, and it shows. For $24 a day plus taxes for a electric/water hook up, we really like this campground. This park is gearing up toward canoeing/kayaking with 9 miles of crystal clear springs one way. The 1.4 miles River Trail is popular with both bikers and hikers, as well as resident rhesus monkeys. Yeah, these sticky finger guys are also around. No swimming holes and no fishing anywhere in the park.

Jose

For Silver Springs State Park: Nice camping, especially fort king loop. Private wooded sites. The only knock was no place to swim and the constant ankle bighting skeeters. After years of springs state park camping and cooling off, was most disappointed with that.
