For Caladesi RV Park: It is true that some of the staff aren’t very interested in getting your business: I had reserved the very last lot with full hookups, and one employee tried to talk me into running self-contained in another spot (so that he could keep his own RV in that spot). I refused and it was no big deal but he tried multiple times to convince me which was annoying, and he was rather slow at getting his personal RV out of the spot I had paid for.
But it was a safe park, well situated, and all amenities were available (pool, laundry, bathhouse, WiFi, garbage, etc.), so I still give it 5 stars. Just don’t be put off by the staff and you’ll be happy there.

For Caladesi RV Park: 4 stars for location!
Adjacent to pinellas trail, Trolley stop, beaches and Ice cream. Smaller park and pool. Can be tight to navigate with bigger units but We were warned in advance that the spots available may require a skilled driver and they did offer help guiding us into spot when we got there.
We had seen a real mix of good/bad reviews so were not sure what to expect. Glad we gave it a try as Christos was nothing but helpful and communicative! My summation is he can get very busy helping people get in and out and tending to the park...if you catch him during that time you may mistake his demeanor. He works hard to keep things clean and up to par. They had a food truck that stopped in and he sent us a text the day before to give us a heads up... it was delicious! Wouldnt heaitate to come back.

For Caladesi RV Park: Tried to make a reservation on line. website not very helpful. It wasn't very specific as to whether or not it will take larger trailers. a message stated to text a number with questions. we did. again not very clear. then asked to speak to someone and received a call from a male employee who was moaning and sighing as I was talking to him as if the fact he had to talk to me was a huge inconvenience for him. He then gave me conflicting info about the lots they had. More moaning when I asked him about it. They obviously are not that interested in getting business. I hope one day I get that comfortable, but I doubt it. Better choices are out there folks! Skip this one. Yassou!!!

For Caladesi RV Park: Awesome little campground. Beautiful gravel sites. Paved roads. Clean bathrooms. Price is great for what you get.

For Caladesi RV Park: Be advised, this park will not issue a refund, only a credit.
I happened to be in the area (on business) prior to our trip and stopped by to see the park. Far from acceptable in my opinion - so I canceled my paid reservations 34 days in advance and only offered a park credit.

For Caladesi RV Park: Caladesi is a clean park with nice laundry facilities ($1.50 per wash and dry), new pool furniture, and an attentive host, Christos. He made sure we were settled in and happy with our location. 10 minutes from Honeymoon Beach, 25 minutes from Clearwater beach, and right off the amazing bike trail in the area. The spaces are a little tight, but typical for an RV park.
