For Topsail Hill Preserve State Park: We stay quite often at Topsail. My bigger issue is Reserve America. Made an error selecting the arrival date from the touch screen calendar. Should have been for May 2 but chose the 9th erroneously. Arrived at the campground only to discover the error. Topsail had a spot but could not transfer the reservation. Had to cancel the reservation a week out and forfeit $24.95 on a $30 reservation. Will check for open sites and show up on arrival date before using Reserve America again. Live and learn.

For Topsail Hill Preserve State Park: Some of the sites are a negative. Cracked pads. They have not put any money back into the park. If you stay in sites 1 through 60 you are on top of each other NO PRIVACY. If you are in the loop with site 90...it's like you are staying in a different park...nice lanscaped sites..you are still close but because of the landscaping you cannot see anyone. You cannot drive to the beach. You have to walk, ride a bike, or take their "tram"...but if you are disabled ...meaning you are able to get around but cannot walk the mile to the beach nor ride a bike...the tram comes every two hours..so it's not like you can pick it up at anytime. .nor do they drop you off at or close to your campsite. .nor do they pick you up anywhere along the "tram" path. Very disappointing. The staff is less than accommodating. ..the wifi is only good if you are within so many feet of the Hotspot. ..and really goes downhill in the evenings when everyone else gets on...the digital cable is a joke..you get two channels. I would not go back. Nor would I recommend this to even people I don't like.

For Topsail Hill Preserve State Park: Some sites have broken concrete pads which stands out like a sore thumb because everything else is so well kept and clean. I would suggest trying to stay in sites 101- 167 because it appears to be a newer section.Between the RV park, emerald water and sugary sand beaches, it's the best Jerry, the best!

For Topsail Hill Preserve State Park: Definitely one of the best parks in Florida. Sites are level and and most have concrete. Shopping is nearby. The only drawback is, you have to either have to ride a bike or take a tram to the beach. The tram runs every hour so if you miss it you have to wait. Some younger people walk but it you are up in age and have chairs and cooler you will wait for tram. Beach is probably a half mile away. There is no driving your car from campground to Topsail park beach. It is inconvenient but otherwise a great park.

For Topsail Hill Preserve State Park: A beautiful campground that has the feel of a small village with different neighborhoods. Other than sites 1-24 which are fairly open -y the rest of the campground has attractive, established landscaping that provides both shade and a sense of privacy. Loop 103 (sites 100+) is the newest section and most spacious. Although some sites have badly broken concrete it appears that the park regularly replaces deteriorating cement. Definitely at or near the top of Florida's excellent state park system.
