For North Beach Camp Resort: This is not your typical campground. This is something special. Where else can you place your RV in a private, secluded site within walking distance to the ocean and a beautiful river? There are great restaurants right on the ocean across from the entrance to the park. We ate at Aunt Kate’s, an easy walk from our site (99). It’s on the river. If the weather is nice, you can eat on the outside deck. Our power and cable hookups were reliable. Some of the reviewers have dinged this location because of the sand roads and sites. Folks, we’re camping! If you are afraid of dealing with a little sand, stay home. The mature native plants and trees create a lush environment that I have not seen elsewhere. Be careful when crossing the main road walking over to the beach. It’s 50 mph and cars close on you very quickly at that speed. The park is 15 minutes to old town St. Augustine and all it’s great shops and things to do and see. This will be a destination location for us in the future.

For North Beach Camp Resort: Wow! Hidden gem! Full hook up park across the street from the ocean THAT HAS PLENTY OF SHADE! Spots are large with a lot of foliage in between! Staff was friendly, informed, and very helpful. Far enough away from town center it’s quiet, close enough that it’s a short drive. PUBLIX supermarket is just up the street. They re open year round! HIGHLY recommend!

For North Beach Camp Resort: Shady and private sites. Sand sites and roads are a mess to clean off 4 paws in damp weather. Would prefer paved roads. Virtually no grass for pets. Electric went off and on all night about every 10 minutes until I went outside and unplugged. Cable doesn’t work. Saw non-campers using the laundry facility. Very over-priced compared to superior campgrounds nearby. I did enjoy the close proximity of Aunt Kates restaurant for a lovely dinner outside on the cozy deck.

For North Beach Camp Resort: NO WiFi. Only available at the office area but they have a comfortable lobby and a friendly staff. Facilities look a bit weathered and due for some upgrades. However, the sites offer tree-shaded spaces that are perfect against the hot Florida sun. Downtown St. Augustine is less than 10 mins by car. I would have given it a 5 Star if not for the lack of WiFi which should be available for the price they charge.

For North Beach Camp Resort: Camp sites are very private and park is well maintained. WIFY does not work and ATT cell is not very good. Version works well. May stay here again. .

For North Beach Camp Resort: Wow! Such a fantastic park! We stayed for two nights and enjoyed every minute of it. Will stay again and would’ve stayed longer if we could’ve! Looking forward to going back next time we are in Florida.

For North Beach Camp Resort: Nicely lay out in coastal hammock with hard packed sand in very vegetation around 150 sites...no WiFi but in wash area at front. Nice restaurant on beach across the street. And on river at other end of sites..we had our 70 lab with us no problem...very expensive but it is a private camp ground in heavy tourist area...St Augustine 15 min just over the bridge
