For KOA Holiday Sugarloaf Key: We arrived to this newly renovated KOA to find it still under construction, though not campsite construction but condos under construction. The seemingly large park is actually very tight, and especially for big rig (45’). The site edges are ringed by large rocks that make pull-in difficult and potentially hazardous to your tires/rig. The park does not enforce any of its rules (1 car per site, pets not allowed on beach, pick up after your dog, quiet time at 11pm), which makes tight seem very tight. 36 hrs into our stay, a heavy rain has flooded almost all of the sites under about 6†of water. Nothing seems to drain and we are right near the beach. Seems that they forgot to build drainage into the premium sites with patios. The only reason It gets two stars is that the utilities are good (electric, water, WiFi, garbage pickup, pool). If you have a smaller rig - <35’ - you will find this campground pretty nice. Don’t fall for we accept the big rig line, though. We won’t stay here again.

For KOA Holiday Sugarloaf Key: The remodel they have done here is fantastic. The place is beautiful, clean, and really well landscaped. The pool area and beach are both nice. We kayaked right from the dock. It’s pretty pricey, but all the amenities are there. (We we’re really happy we were no where near the construction.)

For KOA Holiday Sugarloaf Key: 100% new renovations since the last hurricane leveled the place. It is amazing! The bar, pool, fast WiFi, landscaping, marina, all great.

For KOA Holiday Sugarloaf Key: Office was clean, pool was hot with lots of full-time day-drinkers with food and cigarettes in the pool. Not many trees, gravel sites. Low water pressure. Not many kids. Main bathhouse out of order, second one was further from spots and could have used attention. Fishing and dock was convenient. Poor excuse for a KOA
