Giving this 3 stars because the park is so poorly run. Our site was overbooked and occupied when we arrived. It took three hours for management to find us another site. It’s a better site or else this review would have been one star After almost a week there we received a call asking us if we’d arrived and that they needed to run our card (which had been run when we finally got a site the week prior). Amy in the office has an attitude and should no longer be employed there.

Less than 1 star. Not sure how this can be called a “resort”. It’s awful.
AVOID AT ALL COST! I wish I researched and read the reviews beforehand. We will never ever go back.

One Star OVERPRICED Dump. They advertise WiFI. They lied twice to me about "Great WiFI". When you get there and realize you have one bar and it's 5 times slower than your phones hot spot they tell you you need a $145 "Wired WiFi" which is not true WIFI at all. Let's move on to the small, far from level, easy to flood lots. Nuff said. Add a "Fitness Center' that's bedroom size with a few pieces of equipment. I add it all up and I get less than zero for this ENCORE dump. Never any Encore EVER again. There's a reason all the other nearby RV resorts were full long before I tried and this one "Surprisingly" had room. Every bell in my head should have rung. Oh... did I mention it's overpriced?

Power was unacceptable, under 104Vac most of the time. They were booked so I had to run generator most of the time. The previous occupants were moved to a new site due to under voltage. They just assigned us the same site knowing of the problem.

Location gets 1 star. Had reservations and when arrived they checked me in and senate me to the site with no escort. Got there and part of the site was under water including both the bottom of the power post and the sewer connection. Went back to the office and the workers had no idea what to do. Was ready to leave when they brought me to the manager. She is the reason I am giving 3 stars. She worked with me and helped find another RV park that could take us an dit was closer to where we needed to be. If. Out for the manager I would say do not ever go there but with her managing the location, there is a bright spot at that top. So, go here at your own risk.

Fabulous place! Stayed a month. Grandkids came to visit and had a ball. Easy drive to lots of beaches and stores. Best pool ever, with lush plants and covered seating areas all around the pool. Bathrooms also perfect. And staff very friendly and helpful. Will stay again!

This place is awful! Sites are small, close together, many trees .... had reservations got here and they were not sure they had a site, or one big enough for our RV; even though we had called and confirmed a few hours before with the size of our rig. Finally squeezed into a site, close enough to the seasonal park model to watch and hear their tv!
Gone out for the day and come back to no power.... box at site crackling! It was after hours and someone did come at 9:30 and helped to connect to another site but now no sewer hook up!
If you want to do laundry, you have to buy a laundry card for $3 and then put money on it to cover the cost of wash and dry!! This resort is expensive considering the condition of the grounds.
Suggest Encore corporate look closely and RVers keep on driving!!!

Stayed for 3 nights. After setting up I looked at the voltmeter and it showed low voltage. Had to move to another site.
The site was so close to the next site I couldn't open our awning.
A lot of permanent trailers. The streets are very narrow.
Very expensive for what we got.

This is our second time staying at the Ramblers Rest. RR is a top level resort and delivers on all their promises. We especially like the grassy, shaded sites on quiet meandering streets. On this visit the park was full and the staff went the extra mile to get us a site for a week without having to move. Thanks to David and Kim in the office, this once again was a wonderful experience.

I keep my RV parked here all year and live in the RV about 15 days a month. Extremely clean showers and toilets. Very nice pool. Plenty of roads for running and biking.
