For Blythe Island Regional Park: This a very large and beautiful RV park; a hidden gem. There are salt and fresh water fishing areas, large swimming areas and beaches. The sites are far apart and roomy, with lots of vegetation in between for privacy. Restrooms and showers are clean and nice. Lots of domestic bunnies everywhere which are really fun. Many acres to roam around on. Nearby St. Simons Island and Jekyll Island. A great stop.

For Blythe Island Regional Park: Stayed in 2 sites here - first night in P3, primitive site, no hookups, inconvenient bathrooms, lots of bushes and bugs! Next night stayed in site 33 w/e - much nicer, walk to bathroom and showers. Pretty park on small lakes. Close to Jekyll Island and St. Simons - great for day trips!
Stayed 3/18-19/2022 in 18' campervan

For Blythe Island Regional Park: Park is nice. Sites are good but you cannot reserve your site online They do it for you My recommendation would be to ask for a pull through if possible The sites are bigger and more private. We stopped for 3 nights on the weekend. Never used the bathroom but park was very clean so I would think the restroom would be too.
Did not smell the paper mill and would stay again

For Blythe Island Regional Park: Called day of to reserve during trip from Richmond to south Florida. Decided to stay in park instead of just rest stop. It’s not far off I-95 but I will say it is close to the paper mill. As we took exit and drove we passed through that smell. Winds were out of south so you couldn’t smell in park, I wouldn’t stay if the wind was from the north. Yeah it’s that bad. We arrived at 10pm and they had our info on board. Site 15. All sites have full hook-ups and a concrete pad so your steps from RV don’t have dirt landing. Place had more to offer than I expected. They have some really nice mountain bike trails that they keep up. We enjoyed the nature walk with kids and dog. Yes they raise bunnies here so you can see and feed a bunch of cute rabbits. All in all a very nice park that staff takes pride in keeping nice. We would stay again for a night.

For Blythe Island Regional Park: The camp sites were well separated and it was quite quiet through out our stay. Strange online booking wherein you book online, but that is effectively a request. They confirm but only assign you a site on arrival- you cannot choose it
Our campsite consisted of a hard packed sand "driveway" and a concrete pad next to it. We had a full hookup site including cable supposedly- it did not work so cannot comment on it. Also did not use facilities so no comment.
Bunnies added entertainment to a walk around the grounds. Funny little buggers, will come to you when you call - probably assuming you will provide food, which they quite happily take a carrot out of your fingers.
Cell: only used my Visible / mofi4500 and it was strong enough for Sling and laptop. About 8m up and 8 meg down
Close to both St Simons and Jekyll Islands. There were plenty of grocery stores nearby including Wally World, target, samsclub and restaurants.

For Blythe Island Regional Park: We stayed here for 10 days, fantastic campground! Wide, long sites. Plenty of room for our 28’ trailer & the 250 with room for another vehicle. Sites are private as underbrush has been left for privacy. The folks in the office are amazingly kind and the campground is spotless. The restrooms & showers were spotless as well. Sand roads are great as vehicles are quiet going down road. Wildlife is everywhere including the domestic rabbits that roam the park. Park is far from the highway and very quiet. Occasionally you’ll get an odd smell from the paper mill across the River, but it’s not distracting at all. You have fresh & salt water fishing here. Boat dock, playground and walking paths. Bring the bike as well. About an hour to Okefenokee swamp & Jacksonville, FL. 30 minutes to Jekyll & St. Simon’s islands. TONS of things to do in this area.

For Blythe Island Regional Park: This must be one of GA’s best kept secrets! We loved it here! Very little vegetation was removed to create sites. There’s enough growth between sites to provide excellent privacy. The only sounds we heard were cicadas. No music, voices, etc. A peacefully tranquil place this is! The only BIG word of caution is to bring mosquito repellent. Those things are as big as humming birds and will suck a pint of blood in a heart beat. We were disappointed at not being able to sit outside or enjoy the fire pit. Off and dryer sheets helped some but we were out only when necessary and the mosquitos still found us. There are a plethora of bunnies that have no fear. So fun to watch. The office’s huge front porch has 2 chain-hung porch swings and 2 huge fans. This place is a hidden treasure; a true gem.
