For Hickey Gap Campground: This site was spectacular. Absolutely Beautiful. No elec, no water. I have a 17 ft trailer and it was about maximum size to get it up the mountain trail and to the sites. Be aware it's really not made for anything but the smallest rvs

For Hickey Gap Campground: Very pretty, peaceful spot right along the stream. Trash cans and vault bathroom on site, but no water. You do have to drive 5 miles on a narrow winding path up the mountain - we had no issues in our truck. There are five sites first come, first serve. We got the last campsite on a Friday night around 5pm in March. It seems like earlier in the week is more likely to get a spot. Definitely worth it if you like rustic camping! Great little spot and free too!

For Hickey Gap Campground: Stress not for trailers. Road has trees and branches in it.
