Will

For Turner Campsites: Not too bad, stayed 3 nights. Really missed not having WiFi. Little bit of road traffic across the stream, mostly ambulances and big rigs air braking, must have been several wrecks(?) as roads are very curvy and stormed at night. Stream has brook and rainbows but guessing heavily fished right at camp. Most spots taken by permanent large rigs but still got a spot just showing up unannounced.
Town about 20 minutes away has everything one could need. See the nearby waterfalls(over 600 steps to top but one can drive to parking lot at top) and Consolidated Gold Mine(8 to 16 yr olds would probably find the mine really cool bit wear shoes, not sandals as it is a wet mine) I found 3 flakes of gold from my 15 minutes of panning. Gold Mine is next to Wal-Mart too, bonus!

TM

For Turner Campsites: Nice campground, but modern not rustic. Not what I expected from a state park. Much of the park under remodel right now. We were in a new section and all of the pads are asphalt. Sites are not large.
