For Cotton Hill: The pros… beautiful mostly waterfront sites. A fair amount of space between, some better than others. A super clean and peaceful campground with laundry. We loved our site, 73, and our row. Although we walked the whole campground, and maybe other areas are a bit more spread out, we thought our row was the best location.
The cons… our row gets pretty windy if there is wind, which did, at times, affect sitting outside and having a fire. Some driveways have a steep decline, although the spots look level. We thought if we ended up with some, we might have bottomed out. Also some sites are buddy sites with back to back hookups.
Pro/con depending… the campground is about 25-30 minutes from anywhere. So if you need groceries, or wanna go do something other than just enjoy the lake, fish and chill, it’s a haul.
Overall, we loved it and would definitely stay again.

For Cotton Hill: Great 2 night stay here. Every site has a lake view. Wooded sites with lots of shade. Nice sandy beach, closed, but people ignored the fence. Fences around playgrounds have fallen down. Kids were playing on it.

For Cotton Hill: Stayed on old mill road site 44. Nice level site, full hook ups, privatize and quiet. Couldn’t see the lake but nice shade trees and grassy area. All sites have full hookups with good sized gravel area at each site. Great space between most sites, few are close together. Nice hiking path through the woods and good beach area to swim in. Play grounds where closed but looked old. Will go back.

For Cotton Hill: A big park with awesome lakefront campsites. Water, electric and sewer at sites. Good Verizon 4G and cell service. Several over-the-air TV channels. Very nice dog park and fish cleaning station. Pretty full when we were here Feb. 18-24, but several of the 21 non-reservable sites were still available. At $26/night ($13 with federal Senior Pass), you can't beat the price. Only criticisms are the bathrooms/showers were not great, and the only dumpsters for all three campground loops were very inconveniently located near the park entrance.

For Cotton Hill: Very nice park. Some of the back-ins are quite steep and hard to level. Pull-thrus are all easy and level.

For Cotton Hill: 2/28/18. Very nice, wide paved back in sites. Power and septic working and well maintained. Awesome lakefront sites. Use the National Park pass for a discount. Friendly check in staff and very helpful.
