For KOA Holiday Chattanooga West: This KOA is in a beautiful area with lots of gorgeous nature nearby to enjoy. The campground itself is on a mountainside with lots of trees and birds. At check in we were told that they got rid of cable TV because the WiFi is so great that we can stream whatever we want (Netflix, etc). This is NOT true. I couldn’t even send a text with a photo attached! There are a few over-the-air television channels that pretty much turned grainy after dark. As others mentioned, some of the sites are in interesting configurations, almost sitting on top of the neighboring campsite. The nightly rate is a bit high for what you (don’t) get, unfortunately typical for some KOAs. I’d look for another campground next time in the area.

For KOA Holiday Chattanooga West: No WiFi signal. No cable. Mud holes everywhere. Our surge protector Blew here. Not sure why. Had to replace. The bathrooms were newly remodeled and very nice.

For KOA Holiday Chattanooga West: Great stop! Only issue was temporary bathrooms but even those were nice. Will definitely come back.

Robin

For KOA Holiday Chattanooga West: Hilly campground, narrow sites, most of the sites looked level, some shady sites. Clean, maintained bathhouse and laundry, open 24 hrs. Water pressure was good. Typical KOA with all the amenities. Friendly staff. When you come off of Highway 59 from Chattanooga turn right, drive past the gas station and follow the KOA signs. Site #26 had low voltage (106v) and kept tripping off when our air-conditioner would come on, even though it was a newly installed electrical panel at that site. Our Progressive Industries surge protector kept shutting off to protect our 26’ motorhome appliances. We were moved to site #33 and had no more electrical issues.

DaVida

For KOA Holiday Chattanooga West: Hilly campground, interesting sites, some rather close, enough for fire pit smoke to enter our rig, plenty of shade. Clean, maintained bathhouse and laundry, open 24 hrs. Typical KOA with all the amenities. Owners very friendly, pool was empty in mid Sept. No highway traffic noise, but a faraway train could be heard, of course.

Jgraves

For KOA Holiday Chattanooga West: We stayed at KOA Chattanooga West over Labor Day weekend in our 30' Keystone Bullet as part of a group of 4 campers. Site 31 was very level and private. Campground is in a great location for all area attractions and downtown Chattanooga. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Pool and bath house were well maintained and clean. We would stay here again.
