For Buffalo Shores: This place was great for what we wanted. We wanted to stay near the Mississippi and this place is right on it and even has a beach (which was great for the kids). At $23 for the beach front, and $5 for firewood per bundle, it was a little pricey for us. There was a nice day area for non campers. The play area was nice. The vault toilets were satisfactory. The showers worked. Over all it was a nice stay except for the fact that there is a railroad track RIGHT NEXT to the campground and the trains ran all night. There were at least 4 thru the night. That was really frustrating. Over all though, it was worth the $28 for the one night we were there.
