For Pulpit Rock Campground: Just stayed here for 2 nights for a pandemic break to get back to more normal activity. I gave 5 stars Because overall I was impressed with this campgrounds. The area is quite nice. The facilities are basic but clean. The grounds were nicely kept and maintained. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. A basically driving in with no reservations they allowed me to inspect and choose my site from those available. One of the reasons I chose to stay at this site was the trout stream that runs through it which provided good fishing during my stay. So if your in to stream trout fishing this is a good place. I chose to stay on on the south side of the stream which is better if fishing is your goal. The only negative I found for this campground, and it is minor for me, was road noise from the nearby highway west of the grounds. Still I would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it for anyone to try.

For Pulpit Rock Campground: Facilities were okay. Pretty setting. Unfortunately, they do maintenance really early...as in chopping downed limbs and trees at 8 am with associated noise and dust. No warning to any campers even at check in.
