For Lakeside Casino RV Park: This campground is adequate for an overnight stay-it's close to the interstate, only $20, has pull-thru sites, manicured lawns around the narrow campsites. Some concrete pads are old and broken up, but as there's no one to check you in, you're free to choose your own site. Ours is intact and nicely flat. There are many trees, but they're small, so don't give much shade. You have to go to the gift shop to pay for your site. There are no bathroom or showers. I was told a bank took over the casino from the previous owners a few years ago, which is probably why the RV park feels abandoned. The valet service at the casino used to be in charge of the campground, but the bank discontinued valet service on June 1st, 2017.

For Lakeside Casino RV Park: This was a nice place to stop for the night. The park is just a bit on the tight side but very doable. We had no trouble with our 39' fifth wheel. Nice level concrete pads. Wifi worked great once I connected with our Wifi Ranger. At $20 a night for full hook ups this is a good place to rest your bones. Having a fuel stop right there was an added bonus! We would definitely stay there again.

For Lakeside Casino RV Park: As someone else has said - sites are narrow. There is electric and water. I didn't try the cable so I don't know if that worked. But the internet was to weak to connect from the RV Park. All other amenities mentioned are only available at the hotel. The casino was too smokey for me.

For Lakeside Casino RV Park: Avoid this place. Extremely narrow roads and concrete parking pads. Most of the pads are broken and pot-holed and there are deep muddy ruts at each end because the pads are too narrow to drive onto. Roads between are so narrow you can't exit without falling off the pads into the ruts. We managed to get into one mostly unbroken site with no damage to our coach only to find a hand-lettered piece of paper left by a previous camper on the electrical box warning that it was broken. We cautiously moved with several people coming outside to help guide us as there is no staff. We had to leave the park and make a U-turn in the casino parking lot to go back and get into another little site on broken concrete. For some reason the water hookups are right next to pads and are about four feet tall so use caution with a bedroom slideout. There isn't another campground close so if you need to stop in this area, dry-camp in the truck parking lot.

Sally
For Lakeside Casino RV Park: This RV Park is a good place to stop for the night (or for more, if you're interested in the casino offerings). It's neat and tidy enough, and despite it being right off of I-35, you can't hear the highway much. (Of course, this might have changed had we kept our windows open.) All in all, it's probably the best place to stop on the I-35 Iowa corridor. And, it's open year round. Nothing really special about it, but you can tell it's well maintained.

For Lakeside Casino RV Park: Overnite stay July 7, 2014. Price was $30 (AAA discount 10%). All sites are pull-thrus with 20/30/50 amp, water & sewer hookups. Paved with lawns and small trees & picnic tables. Need to check into the casino when arriving. Then pick your space (48 pull-thrus). Shuttle service to the casino (RV park is about 1/4 mi. away). Several gas/diesel stations at the nearby I-35 interchange. Casino has a good buffet. Monday is 2 for 1 day w/club card. We would stay again.
