For Shelby Country Inn and RV Park: Dont stay here. We turned around after seeing all the old broke down RVs there. These are permanent people who look like they have been living there for years and apparently the owners are looking to make a buck of any kind by letting this become a trailer park. We have a 2015 MH and we didnt think this place looked safe to stay. We found accommodations elsewhere.

For Shelby Country Inn and RV Park: The fresh water access at the campsites is at ground level and opens with a key. This is literally touching the sewer dump hole. Really unsanitary, I would say it’s a health hazard. Every time someone disconnects their sewer hose it’s likely some of the hose water drips on the fresh water spigot. I would only stay here if you have no other option and don’t need fresh water. The office staff is nice although like most places in rural America no one wears a mask during the pandemic.

Becky

For Shelby Country Inn and RV Park: I would give 4 stars if just looking for an overnight, as I was. My only negative is the road noise from 80, but it didn’t stop me from having a good night’s sleep. Level sites.

Karen

For Shelby Country Inn and RV Park: Staff at check-in very friendly. Mostly 50 amp full hook-up grass sites. Sites are long enough where we did not have to unhook. However, sites were very close together and most sites had permanent residents. A lot of dogs but all well behaved. Shower and toilet were clean. Good stop for overnight even with the loud highway noise.

Scott

For Shelby Country Inn and RV Park: Campground mostly 50A pull through full hookup sites with clean air conditioned restrooms, small kitchen/rec room & coin laundry. Nearby restaurants & several miles bicycle/walking nature trail. Friendly new owner & staff. Only negative is noise from close proximity to I-80

For Shelby Country Inn and RV Park: The place isn't bad for a rv park near the freeway. Very reasonable price. But the women's bathroom stink of mold. Only stay here if you don't need the bathroom.

Susan Hull

For Shelby Country Inn and RV Park: We didn't need water or sewer, we needed electric. Told to avoid #47 because of water problem. About 10 PM, when my husband went to take his shower, we figured out we had no power! No 50 or 30 amp. Had been running off of inverter. Called and left message--site and phone number. NEVER got any call back--that night or next day. No one was in the office about 11AM. Thinking almost $30 for a muddy parking spot was a bit high. Could have stayed at Rest Area down the road for nothing. Really disappointed we didn't receive an "I'm sorry" phone call. Had to run generator in the AM just to make coffee and get ready. Don't want to hear we could have moved. At 10 PM we just could not put everything away, pull in slides, pull up jacks and try to find working power in the dark. Think twice--might happen to you.
