For Cabelas: Had a hard time finding a campground with decent reviews or good boondocking for the night before picking up my wife a SLC airport. Cabela's was great with about 8 rigs that night. I called first and they were very welcoming. However, there were two fifth wheels in front that seemed to be long-term and I hope people like this who go too far straining the generosity of Cabela's don't ruin the situation for the rest of us. The trailers were detached, awnings out, sliders out etc. like they were living there. It was a quiet night and area surrounded by shopping and restaurants and large new apartment complexes. It seemed like a very safe area. Two miles west is a super bird sanctuary for walking: Farmington Bay Waterfowl Management Area

For Cabelas: Easy lot to pull into. RV spaces were full but store staff allowed parking in their lot towards the street. Well lit and made for a great sleeping spot on our travels.

For Cabelas: Nice wide long spaces. Store staff happy to have us. Extremely Quiet over night. Lot well lit. Dump and water no longer working. Stayed in a 38 foot motorhome towing a jeep.

For Cabelas: Nice RV area on the side of the building but filled with cars and trucks during the day. Customer service gave us the ok to stay elsewhere in the lot but we moved to the RV area when space became available. Dump but no potable water.

For Cabelas: Cabela’s has a nice rv lot on the side of the building along with a nice dump station and it’s $5 paid by credit card machine and NON-potable water. We did not need to use it. Lot was guiet. We stayed one night in a truck camper. Barbecue restaurant and a Mexican restaurant right across the parking lot. Cabelas also has a little café. We sat in front of the fireplace that was on and played a game of checkers. Of course we bought a couple of items we couldn’t live without.
