For Camp Coeur d Alene: Driving in we wondered how there could be a campground here. But as we pulled up we saw that it’s cut into the mountain. Not difficult to get in, however. We had a pull thru and it was very level. Bathrooms were spotless. Water was delicious. The staff was exceptional and cheerful and helpful. It’s obvious that the staff members take great pride in the place. Nice pool - and CLEAN. Wish we could stay longer so next time through we will.

For Camp Coeur d Alene: We enjoyed the friendly receptionist Taylor who is very helpful. The showers are hot and wonderful. The spaces down by the pond are nice and open. This is a great place to stop if heading either east or west. A plus is the outstanding steak house, Wolf Creek Lodge, which you need to make reservations. Yep we’re pleased we stayed at Camp Coeur d’ Alane

For Camp Coeur d Alene: Pros: clean bathrooms and outdoor kitchen and sinks, firewood and canoes/paddle boats included in the price, friendly staff.
There were bees, but I just ignored them. I did not find them overwhelming.
Overall, I found the location was great and I would definitely stay again.

For Camp Coeur d Alene: Call this place Camp Bumble Bee, because the entire place is inundated with bees.
We could not set up our camp until after sundown and by early morning there were so many flying around that we were basically chased out. That’s better than the people who had a spot next to us. They arrived and departed within an hour because the situation was so unbearable. Management feigned that this was the first they had ever heard about the situation, but that’s crap. There was even a bee glue trap in a tree in our space left by a previous beleaguered camper, which was not set up properly and had snared a small bird in addition to the insects. Management had no idea it was there – do they even inspect the sites in between campers?
+1 star for free firewood and clean showers, but that’s it. The camp looks great from a distance but up close it’s worn and tired. Prices for basic supplies are jacked way up. Would never stay there again and advise you to avoid under all circumstances.

Julie
For Camp Coeur d Alene: RV spots were extremely narrow and awkward. Not able to use slide or awning. Noisy campers and unleashed dogs. Free firewood was green and the camp was extremely smokey. Only stayed one night instead of the 5 I had paid for. Would never stay here again!

Nathan
For Camp Coeur d Alene: Nice access right off the highway. Free paddle boats or canoe and free firewood. Bathrooms were clean. Sites felt a little close but there were lots of trees.

For Camp Coeur d Alene: There’s a visually new owners or new management as this park looks great and is super clean. The bathrooms were very clean and the store looks to be new. The pool was clear and the kids were happy. I wish we’d have had more time but we were only there one night.
