For Trailside - Three Island Crossing State Park: We came at end of Oct. very few people around. A bit disappointed with fee structure. We arrived Sunday night so the Senior discount did not apply. $nearly $40 for a nearly empty Park was kinda high. We paid $9 the night before at a BLM campground in Orofino with paved spots and full hookups!

For Trailside - Three Island Crossing State Park: Great find, lovely setting with trees and view of Snake river. Back ins and pull thru sites with water and power. Clean washrooms and showers. Clean dump(2). Internet was available in October no password. Town is adequate for most needs, Fudge Factory was great casual food and Ice Cream. 2 nites senior discount 19.31 per night Monday-Thursday. Reservations probably needed on the weekends. Interpretive center on site and winery close by, also 18 hole golf course.

For Trailside - Three Island Crossing State Park: Third time we've stopped. Lots of trees and green grass. Walking distance from a winery which we didn't visit. Next time! Showers are fine. There's a day use area that's vacant at night (SHOCKING) that also has showers. If you want to go for a short walk for some additional privacy, might be worth checking out.

For Trailside - Three Island Crossing State Park: The park is nice BUT the website says fishing, while showing a picture of a large trout. This is flat out NOT TRUE, to be polite. When we registered the woman said"we keep telling them to take that off the website but they won't." No fly fishing here, which is unfortunate because we picked this park specifically for this reason. We did stay one night because we were exhausted after a long day on the road.
